Featured Music: Freeform Five – Easy
In light of a Chill channel coming to XM, this week’s featured music is by Freeform Five and the song is titled “Easy” off of the album “Strangest Things”.
As with most of the songs I feature, they aren’t found on terrestrial radio because they don’t fit any genre, or just because terrestrial radio is horrible to listen to for more than 1 minute. I originally discovered this song on Sirius Chill, which I’d recommend to anyone who has Sirius.
I like the song because the singer is kind of dark sounding but also really mellow, if that makes sense. Plus the background music is great, with a combination of dark sounds with an orchestral overtone. It’s definitely got the feel of chill music and is pretty relaxing overall. Plus, the lyrics are pretty powerful, yet simple. I’d highly recommend it. View the lyrics or download the song from iTunes.
