Featured Music: Nelly Furtado – Promiscuous
So I’ve been kind of boring lately with entries and really don’t have the time to update as much as I’d like to with life and whatnot. So here’s a mini update for a new song that’s out by Nelly Furtado. It’s call Promiscuous and features Timbaland.
I personally like the song because it’s a different style for Nelly Furtado. It’s more of a today’s Top 40 mix with some hip-hop added to it. It’s reminiscent of Gwen Stefani, in a way. That’s a bit unusual for Nelly Furtado since she’s more of a adult contemporary channel singer. The background beat is what makes the song what it is, really. The lyrics are decent and the team up with Timbaland is also decent. Overall, the song flows nicely and it has a catchy chorus. It’s worth a listen, at least, simply due to the fact that it’s a totally different style for her.
It’ll be on her new CD Loose coming out in the next few weeks (June 20th). However, the single is currently on iTunes. Give it a listen on iTunes by either clicking here or following the button: ![]()

Nelly just plain rocks!
BTW, I just found a neat Nelly site with all her story detailed. Lots of interesting and unrevealed things in there.
