Ladder 49

To me, this movie was interesting. It’s about the struggle of a Baltimore firefighter who lost his life. During the movie, you see how he gets injured and fights death and during the entire time, you see him reflect on his life.

On average, it received 3 1/2 stars, according to Google’s movie review and rating page for Ladder 49. I personally liked it because it was based in Baltimore, my hometown and reminded me that Baltimore is a beautiful city with some staple landmarks, such as the Seagirt Marine Terminal loading cranes, Federal Hill, the Francis Scott Key Bridge, Fort McHenry. and other notable landmarks. I think it’s fair for a 3 1/2 star rating and worth seeing, though, even if you don’t live in Baltimore or have never been.

I think the story was sort of awe inspiring since it was about the daily struggles and dangers that firefighters here in Baltimore and worldwide, for that matter, face. It was kind of sad the way the story played out, but just reminds you to be grateful for each day you’re alive and live it to the fullest, whether it be helping others or doing your job. I’d recommend the movie.
